Discover the contraindications of the Chocolate and Pistachio Massage
Damaged skin, wounds, burns, or skin infections. Exfoliation can worsen tissue damage.
Dermatitis, active psoriasis, or highly reactive skin. Friction can cause intense irritation.
Nut allergy (especially pistachio). Risk of local or systemic allergic reaction.
Capillary fragility or prominent, tortuous varicose veins. Exfoliation and pressure can damage microcirculation.
Diabetes (with skin or vascular involvement). Increased risk of injury and impaired healing.
Significant circulatory problems. The thermal wrap can alter the vascular response.
Very thin, aged, or sensitized skin. Risk of micro-lesions with exfoliation.
Cancer patients. Exfoliation and wrapping can be aggressive; medical authorization and protocol adaptation are required.
Neurological diseases. There may be an altered response to mechanical and thermal stimuli.
Epilepsy. Intense sensory stimuli can affect neurological stability.
Children. Thinner, more sensitive skin, with a higher risk of irritation from exfoliation.
Recommended age: 18 years and older. Children under 18 have more sensitive skin and less tolerance for exfoliation and heat.
Pregnancy: Abdominal exfoliation, pressure, and thermal wraps may be excessive; it is recommended to avoid these phases.
